Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my tail lights wont turn on when I hit the brakes
...I went to check if it was the light bulbs but they
all work perfectly fine even went to the extent of
buying new one just in case and still ended up
working so I went ahead and turn on my head
lights just to make sure..sure enough the tail lights
work just fine when the head light are on but they
stay on..once I turn them off and hit the brakes
they wont turn on...if anyone out there knows what
the problem is I would greatly appreciate your
help..
