Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 chrysler sebring convertible lXi and
they are trying to charge me over $5000 just for a

The engine is shot and needs to be replaced. Get rid of it.

If you like the car go to a junk yard and get an engine there. Bring the engine back and go through it. Change the gaskets, O rings and all. Then when this engine is installed you will be set for quite a while. I have an 02 Sebring LXI 2.7 and they are great engines. The only problem with the engine is it was manufactured by Mitsubishi
