Starts only when you put your foot on the accelerator

Asked by Jason Mar 02, 2016 at 11:13 PM about the 2003 Chrysler Sebring LXi Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a code it shows up on my scanner as a fuel
temp sensor that is not on the build sheet for my
car. I can only get my car to start by applying
pressure on the accelerator and I only can keep it
running if I keep the RPM's up what do I do

sounds like a heavy vacuum loss or, possible timing belt jump, many possibilities , forget that code that's not involved
