IWE Selinoid

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Grinding noise coming from my 2010 Ford F150
2WD at cruising speeds. Every article tells me it's
the IWE Selenoid , but everyone of those articles
are about F150 4x4's ! That solenoid is part of
what helps it switch back and forth from 4x4 to
4x2.
My truck is a 4x2 only..what is wrong with mine???
