Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i have been only driving a standard for
a couple of months and sometimes i take
off around 1300 to 1500 rpm. But
sometimes i find myself taking off at
1800 to 2000 rpm. The take off is usally
smooth and i only slip the clutch for 1.5 to
maybe 2 seconds im wondering if if the
clutch life will be signicficaly less because
of taking off at a little higher rpm.?

It all depends on how long you ride the clutch that wears on a clutch. The higher the rpm, the faster you want to get off the clutch, the slower the rpm, the slower you can get off the clutch. You'll get it.
