2001 mustang v6 slow acceleration

Hi I have a v6 2001 mustang and the issue is when I pedal
all the way the car barely goes and it takes a long time to
get to 60mph and doesnt go faster I have an engine oil leak
alot but idk if that can cause anything it does have a weird
smell when parked and idk if its cats cause my check
engine light is OFF. When car on parked and when you rev it
it goes good like revs high till like 7 rpm but when driving I
barely go till 60mph pedal all the way and I feel like it does
change gears on 3 rpm but when its around 60mph all the
way pedaled the engine rpm looks like it stay constant
doesnt move much and I only stay till 60mph or around
their please help me thanks and check engine light is OFF

You need to do some basic engine diagnostics. Sounds like possibly the timing chain has jumped. Need to check the spark plugs and wires, air and fuel filters, and engine timing. Either that or you may have a clogged catalytic converter.
