can i charge battery from jumping terminals under hood

What terminals under the hood are you referring to? If the car has the battery in the rear as many cars do, there should be clearly marked posts under the hood that can be used for jump starting and battery charging.

the battery is behind the drivers front wheel. There are two charging points under the hood, can the battery be charged using this two connections
