the battery tested 12.41v not runnig. It tested 11.88v running. After stopping the engine it tested 12.39v. Altenator?

I started and stopped the engine a few more times and each time the battery tested a couple of points lower. Could a bad battery act this way?

probably alt....running at least 13-14 volts give or take..if cables are clean and all grounds tight its running off the battery.
