2011 Dodge Avenger mainstreet 3.6 error codes

Asked by DodgeRiderr Nov 01, 2020 at 04:02 PM about the 2011 Dodge Avenger Mainstreet FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First I tried to start the car it attempted to crank but
the shut off gave it a jump it came right on then I
drove the car to let the battery charge up and it
started to jerk with a blinking engine light  left the
car home and went to work came back 9-10 hours
later car cranks right but still occasionally jerks with
blinking engine light then stops. I went to auto zone
and got a battery and alternator check and they
came back good and a diagnostic test and got the
codes P0300 random misfire detected, P0131 O2
circuit low voltage (bank1 sensor1) and P0171 fuel
system lean (bank 1)

1 Answer

The bank 1 code is for the top o2 sensor connected to the cat converter. Be sure to check on your mass air flow sensor as well.
