After filling car with fuel the car won't start

I agree. You need to know that when you put fuel in, the air and gas fumes must be displaced somewhere, and not in to the air. The fumes are passed through a charcoal canister and purged when engine is started. And always stop pumping gas at first click, don't try to 'round off' price or squeeze more gas in.

Hi and thank you for any information ahead of time :-) hard start after fueling does not matter if it is five bucks or 30 bucks engine light is on but not flashing fortunately! has been happening for several months. It runs fine when I get it going up the road but initially hard to keep running when I do get it going

Thank you for posting this. My 2012 cruze stalls every time I put gas in it...whether I fill up or not. The check engine light is on....and I losing gas mileage so gonna buy a purge valve and see if that fixes the problem. Thanks so much for posting

It's so simple it will make want to jump of a cliff. Leave your motor running as you fill it up. I drove right off with no hard starting, hesitation, or chugging at all. YES, get a new PCV valve if it is the original.. Be sure and reset the cpu by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it,
