I have a 2011 toyota prius with all keys lost. When a tech was programming a new key, he tried to start the car before the key programming was completed. The dash lit up, all lights came on as if it was going into ready start mode. After pushing the power button a few times, the dash lights all went off and a picture of a master lock came on the right side of the dash. The car would not respond to the key programming after that. Is this a theft deterrent happened. How do we get the car to respond or wake back up. The tech was using techstream with the mongoose cable

Seems as this was not a dealership... Did he resent to programming for the vehicle as well or did he programmed the key only?

Leave Techstream cable, dealership should have specific key programmer to get key programmed. http://www.obd365.com/wholesale/super-obd-skp-900-hand-held- obd2-auto-key-programmer.html cheap mangoose cable will not make a working key

Did you resolved the problem? I have the same problem now and I don't know what to do...
