I have a Toyota Prius 2005. The airbag light remains on. When we got it checked the code came up with B1900: Short in front side driver side pretensioner squib circuit. What does this mean??

Hopefully some of the guys will be able to help you, avani. Just want you to know you are not being ignored, but air bags are potentially dangerous when faulty.

That is what I was trying to say avani. I am afraid of giving you misinformation. Air bag issues are best left to professionals.

Agreed. The pretensioner is the actual seat belt and retractor. When dealing with Air Bags and Air Bag systems, you are dealing with explosives (literally). Let a trained professional work on it. Keep your fingers and eyes. Cost: $300-700 for the parts (rough estimate)
