2011 Chrysler Town and Country wont start when cold

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

T&C will turn over and start and then die as soon as it fires when cold. it takes 3
attempts to start each time, then it will start and run fine and start the rest of the
day. its not fuel pressure because had the same problem last winter, but when
summer came it started normal every time. now that's its cooling down the
problem is coming back.

You could start with a new coolant temp. sensor , what if you hold the peddle down a bit ?

haven't had time to change the ect sensor yet, however I did start it this weekend with the gas pedal down a bit and it did start the first try. will change out ect soon and update.
