Ah, Cadillac Allante, it's a very fancy car. I knew someone who had this back in the 90s. Electrical problems are very tricky. I would advise taking it to your local independent mechanic. Good luck.
Do not bother with the dealer at this time. You will likely encounter a mechanic who was not even out of grade school when these were built. Contact Dick Hussey at http://allantesource.com/ he eats ,breathes and sleeps Allante's and has a tremendous supply of parts. He repairs Allante Dash's everyday and has a big supply of used ones - if that is what you need. Check with him first before you spend any money.
My automatic light switch come on but regardless of how much time I set on it they do not work...could the two be connected?
