Is it normal to hear fan run on heated/cooled seats?

Why can you hear a fan running on the heated/cooled seats. The higher you turn it, the louder it becomes. Didn't realize it was a fan type device. None of my Nissans sound like a fan.

I would imagine the fan you hear would be for the cooling function of the seats. Unlike heat which will radiate and heat the seat on its own, the cooling part of the seats needs help in pushing all that cold air through the perforations in the seat. Plus it has to carry enough air to cool you too. Hope this helps. Regards, John

Yes, this normal for infinitis. Our QX60 is the same.
