Hi-whats the EMMITION STANDAR for my car that i purchased it from CRESTMONT?

im in LEBANON,the car with me-i need to exchange the CATALITIC CONVERTER because its expiered now and the CHECK ENGINE SOON is on because of this problem.
thats why im asking you whats the EMMITION STANDARD of my car.

Hi, just remove the O2 sensors and carefully scrape any oxidation or dirt etc. off and then spray it with a quick drying carburator cleaner. Make sure it dries quickly, because some of the cleaners don't dry out and will make it worse. I've done this on at least 7 vehicles and everyone of them passed emissions. Probably don't need a new catalytic converter.
