2000 cadillac deville

I ran out of gas today and i immediately filled a
gas jug and put some gas in it tried to crank it it
wouldnt fire up. Went and got some more gas put
it in there came back stilll didnt fire up. Got
pushed down to a gas station and almost filled it
up and yet again still womt fire up. Im all put of
ideas.

Most likely the fuel pump burned out. The gasoline flowing through the pump cools and lubricates the pump motor. When allowed to run dry the pump motor can, and usually does, burn out quickly! Hope that helps! Jim
