The gear numbers on my digital instrument cluster have disappeared

Everything else seems to work fine including scrolling through pages. The gear
numbers on the side of the screen disappeared once and came back then
disappeared again and haven't come back yet. How do I get them back?

try pressing the manual up down button on your shifter. It either shows what you've selected or if up to a point it will indicate what gear the trans chooses.
