2011 Outback 2.5 warped heads

2011 Outback 2.5 165,000 overheated on long trip in MT.   Towed into dealer
who after two days could not find any problem.  Dealer reported radiator and
head gasket/engine were fine.  Dealer did find coolant was very low.  Dealer
had been informed of overheating and coolant problem as well as bad mileage
by this reporter.  Dealer reported car fine to drive but strongly suggested new
brakes which were done.  Car was driven home 800 miles and the next
morning overheated again.  Car taken to second local dealer who now says
radiator corroded  and clogged with crack at bottom, heads warped and
needing repair at outside shop.  Cost to repair roughly $5,000.  My question,
does initial shop bear any responsibility for not observing any problems?

I'd say they're a bunch of bastards , maybe you live in the middle of nowhere and don't have a lot of options for auto repair , in that case I suggest you learn . Most importantly is diagnosis , no wrenches need be turned you just have to know how to think .

Apparently the dealer missed things but you cannot make them pay for a new engine.
