Car won't stay running

I was driving and my car lost all power. Everything was still running the radio
lights etc. so I know its not my battery. its turning over but won't stay running.
What's causing this?

I had a similar problem once on a 2011 Altima. The mass air sensor had failed. I'm assuming that it was sending such odd information to the computer that it could not come up with a valid fuel calculation. Or perhaps the ignition coil is failing and can't deliver sustained power to the spark plugs?
