What does this mean?

Asked by GuruX4VCJ Sep 27, 2018 at 12:24 AM about the 2004 BMW 3 Series 325Ci Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My BMW 325ci keeps surging
while driving, and when applying
the breaks, it has a sudden stop
with it. This symbol is on with all
the driving gears as well. What is
the best thing I should do for my
car?

Would have the computer scanned for codes. You may have more than one issue going on. My first idea that came to mind is a vacuum leak such as a broken/cracked line perhaps related to a brake booster failure. Good Luck!
