A common problem I see is that there is a bad relay that is shorting out in the fuse box up by the engine. I hope this is helpful

Changing your relay is quite simple. Go into your glove box, and open up the owners handbook. Look in back pages under Specifications.....or under Fuses and Relays. There should be a detail listing of every fuse box in the car and where they are located. Mostly in engine area.....and each one is detailed for a specific function. Check the fuses for the starter first.....there are usually spares located in one of the other fuse locations. Only use the same amperage fuse. If all the fuses are ok....then it is the relay. Look at where the starter 'relay' is......take it to Autozone..... should be $10-15....at the dealer it is about $25
