You definitely do not want to attempt to fix this yourself! If the Airbag light is staying on consistently, I would take it back to the Dealer ASAP to have them determine what the issue is. Your car is likely still under warranty and can have this fixed free of charge.

Also, keep in mind that if the light remains on there's a problem with the system and the airbags will NOT deploy in a collision.
