i just replace front brake pads on my 2012 dodge ram [went to ceramic] and now there grinding. i've changed brakes many times and never had this problem
Make sure they are not put in wrong side facing the rotors.
Check also for a bump on the back side if there is a bump then there should only be one bump per side and it goes to the inside or back side of rotor. If they are both on one side then they may grind or ride the rotor all the time.
The EBC red stuff pads are completely red so unless you're paying attention when putting them in, you can get confused and may put them in backside to rotor.
they are not backwards i will look 4 a bump thou but i think both sides are griding
