Just bought a used 2014 Dodge Ram, has a parking brake sensor light coming on, but parking brakes work? I took it to a Dodge dealership and they say it's most likely due to the rear after-market lights that it has, does this sound right? New stock lights will run almost $400 to install, ugh!

No, the red "brake" warning light on the dash is a problem with the hydraulic part of the brake system. A '14 model should still be under new vehicle warranty unless you're over on the mileage part of the warranty coverage. This is probably why they told you that. Some dealers HATE doing warranty work. Especially if you bought the vehicle preowned. Call Dodge Customer Service at 1-(800)-423-6343 and ask if your truck is still under warranty. Have your exact mileage and VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) ready. HTH. -Jim
