2010 F150 XLT

Asked by RS5786 Jan 28, 2012 at 07:03 PM about the 2010 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew

Question type: Car Customization

I  have a F 150 XLT super crew with factory 17" tires.  Thinking about putting on 18"
rims and tires. Does anyone know of concerns or any thing I need to do as far as
speedometer or pressure monitor calibrations. Rear end is 3.55

As long as the tires are close the the size (messurment wise) then your spedo wont be off tobad, just like PAPA said. but if you go with bigger tires, for expample, I went from the stock 30.5" to 35" with 18' rims. my spedo was off by 6mph at 60 and 8mph at 70. faster... I bought a edge programer and just pluged it into the OBD2 port under thand dash and put my numbers in to flash the computer. It saves the stock tune onto the programer so that way if i ever go back to stock then I can just plug it back and retune to stock.. Hope this helps
