Heater problems

Hey, my heater slowly quites and won’t work,
after the truck sit for a few min, it’ll start
working for a bite then slowly shut off again.
What would cause that

It might be the bearings are dry and when they heat up they get tighter and seize up until they cool again and start over. The motor has not burned out yet so you might be able to get more life out of it by lubricating it with a synthetic oil. Any oil will work. Try to squirt it on the shaft at both ends as there may not be any lubrication holes. You can't hurt it.
