Clutch repair

Asked by GuruB6DD7 Jan 18, 2019 at 04:03 PM about the 2010 Hyundai Accent Blue 2-Door Hatchback FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So we bought this car and now
the clutch goes all the way to the
floor.  I suspect its the clutch
master cylinder but before that
happened, in order to get the car
into first gear, you'd have to pull up
on the reverse lever just like you
would for reverse.  I also suspect
its related to the clutch master
cylender beginning to fail. Please
let me know if I'm correct, and I
need a new clutch master
cylinder. Also the car goes into
gear just fine with the car off.
Including 1st gear.
