my seabring convertible top wont work it says its malfunction,

2010 my convertible top wont work the dash board reads malfunction. I did put
more power steering in the cylinder were the spare tire is found but that didnt
work, my trunk wonk work automatically either.

Check the wires that run through the trunk by the hinge , they may be worn through from bending .
