Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Maxima the night
before when I got out of my car
the door chime kept ringing
straight through like it didn't ding
ding ding when you get out of the
car the next morning went to go
get in the car completely no lights
on the dash key fob wouldn't work
completely dead so I put a battery
charger on the battery all night
and all the next day tried to go
out and start it – lights came on
everything came on tried to
started with the push button and
it would crank but it just wouldn't
start. So I figured it was the
battery took the battery charger
off went out 25 minutes later to
try and start it nothing completely
dead no – lights nothing help
please

1 Answer

Get a new battery for the key fob, if push to start. Get a new car battery, Disconnect the Terminals on the battery for 10 minutes, Reconnect and see if it will start. If cranks but will not start then it could be one of these items, Timing Crank Sensor, Fuel pump pressure, or Security system.
