So, I'm not real sure as to how this should work as far as negotiation with a dealership. Is the Instant Market Value of a vehicle just a starting point and the Dealership price is the actual negotiating starting point for a 10 to 15 percent off of dealership price. Is that how the final sale price negotiation for the vehicle should work? Also, are INTERNET OR E-PRICE for vehicles suppose to be negotiable to a 10 to 15 percent less price for a final sale price? 3 Answers

a used car dealer called "auto source"/joe, in denver colorado told me that due to the privacy act they can not obtain oil change records for cars they obtain through aution or other avenues that they buy cars for resell. I had orginally called to ask about a car they had listed with a carfax that showed large gaps in the maintenance records. Is this true? 2 Answers
