had came on what can possibly be the

Sounds like it could be a down stream oxygen sensor. There are at least two oxygen sensors per "V" engine bank. These are the oxygen sensors below the Cat. Converter. It might not be the sensor , but a ristricted or blocked Cat. Converter. Lets see what other people on this sight say. Its best to see what codes are retrieved by the diagnostic tester.
