Does anyone know what make a car stops during driving ?

I need help finding what’s wrong with my car. I have
outback 2010 and it has a problem that  no one
was able to find out the cause of it, which’s
whenever I reduce my speed it stop completely and
i have to start it using its key. Note there’s nothing
lighting on my dashboard to inform of any
mechanical problems.

Maybe a bad idle control valve but it could be a lot of things. Not much to go on!

Probably a bad solenoid in the CVT. See if SOA will replace the valve body gratis. If not, figure $1500 to replace. Sorry. Ern TSG/B
