my 2011 Outback 6 speed manual intermittently makes a thumping noise when turning or backing up and turning. Seems more often when the car is hot, like pulling into a gas station after driving hiway
I've had the car looked at twice. One mechanic wanted to do bearings on all 4
wheels, one thought a stone was caught between the brake plate, but it came
back after he made a bit more space. My boyfriend thinks it has to do with the
differential. Anyone else ever have this problem? what is it?
Possibly bad motor mounts or differential mounts.
