BMW Service schedule

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

I have an engine oil service coming up in a month or so and was wondering
if you guys could let me know which type of service is needed?

Car is a 2009 BMW 325i M Sport Highline (UK car) and the service history
is:

2012, 25000 miles: Break fluid, oil, micro filter
2013, 51000 miles: oil, oil filter, micro filter, spark plugs, air filter, aircon
2015, 68000 miles: oil, oil filter
2016, 77000 miles: Break fluid

So the mileage now is 84000 miles so for this oil service do i need a Major
(spark plugs, air filter, micro filter included) or a minor (oil and oil filter)?

Thanks

You had a major service 30k miles ago and 4 years ago....so you are averaging a little over 7000 miles per year....this is low. I would say keep track of your MPG each time you fill up. If you are at 33 mpg today and it drops to below 30 then time to do a major service. My suggestion
