Radio issues

My wife's radio in her KIA Spectra is not working...it won't turn on at all and as we start the car a loud popping sound comes from the car speakers. I checked the fuse located at the Driver-side knee bolster and the fuse is fine. Please help?!?!

try to disconnect battery for at least a half and hour should reset radio mem same thing happened to my 08 kia spectra

I had the same problem, 2002 KIA Spectra.. I pulled the ACC. fuse out from the fuse box under the hood. The radio started back working.instantly.
