2009 Kia Spectra LX electrical issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 Kia Spectra LX. I replaced the battery because it wouldn't start (lights would
come on, radio, etc, but car would make clicking sound repeatedly). After the battery was
replaced the radio, cabin light, and clock will not come on. I replaced a 120amp blown
fuse and have checked all others that I can check under the hood and below the steering
wheel. Alternator was checked out and is good.  Any ideas?

Check all connections from battery to starter. Sometimes it could be just a bad ground

Same thing happened to me mid Dec/17, what I felt was weird is that the CD was ejected. Got a boost, ran it for 2hrs to recharge the battery since it was at night and no garage open. It worked for a wk, than one night, I went to start it and I had to unlock manually, put the key in and nothing at all except the darn radio(CD part clicking, but no CD in there) is going crazy and won't turn off. Even after I took the key out of the ignition and exited the car, the CD part was still going crazy. My battery is only a few yrs old, I'm thinking there's something defective with the radio/CD system.
