front struts difference

what is the difference between of the front struts on awd base and sport model

My guess would be valving inside the strut or the connections or length is slightly different. They are different part numbered parts between the FWD and AWD models, just use the correct ones, Depending on brand they are close to the same price. I see maybe $10 more. But if you are asking on using used Struts, don't do it. Not worth the hassle.

You should be able to upgrade the struts if that is what you are asking.
