Is Heet gas-line antifreeze and water remover safe to put in a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 liter?

Vehicle is boggy when pushing the accelerator and put up a message saying reduced engine performance

Yup, it may or may not solve the problem. Always follow the directions on the label.

Agree with those guys. The message board is telling you "reduced engine performance" .. well duh, you know that. http://www.underhoodservice.com/tech-tip-reduced-engine-power-message-displayed-on-gm-vehicles/

This time of year, if you are in North America, strongly suggest you keep it full or near full of fuel. This prevents condensation

So, what ended up happening with your 2009 Silverado that you had put the 'heet' gas treatment in. I filled my tank & put in heet. It's been about 2 months and it bogs when I try to get it up over 2nd or 3rd gear. Engine gets soooo hot. The longer the trip, the worse it gets. Right now I still have 1/2 tank of the same gas. What was the outcome for you? Thank you in advance!
