Why does the "Ride" feel smoother and gentler on the Limited AWD vs the FWD?

Asked by mswmar Aug 22, 2009 at 06:38 AM about the 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.3L Limited AWD

Question type: General

I have a very bad back, therefore I was delighted to find the Ride less bumpy on the AWD. I do not need it for S.Calif weather, but it's worth the extra money if there is a reason why the AWD is more comfortable and less harsh on my back. Thanks Mjd

the all wheel drive in hyundai is smoother cuz the suspention is diffrent and the chasis as well so it can cope with harsh body movement but the front wheel drive model is good i have a 2.7 gls frnt drive and my dad has a broken back one of his disks in his back sliped and its comfortable for him the awd is more for people who go to the chalet or live in canada p.s ive never got stuck in my santafe frnt drive and i live in montreal
