Lock my keys in my 2009 Cadillac CTS. How do I get the door open

left my key in the ignition and locked the doors. What can I do?

Cops & thieves use a Slim Jim. You can find them at pars stores for a few bucks. Or you might try a wire coat hanger.

Cadillacs are very sensitive with electronics inside the doors, best to call a lockout service or a locksmith.

See if you can get a wire coat hanger inside the door to press the power lock switch. Got into a friend's Blazer that way when he locked his keys inside. Or, if you have OnStar, you can call them to unlock it remotely. Hope that helps! Jim

This isn't useful at the moment of it being locked in the car, but, I would advise keeping a spare key on you at all times. Even if the key doesn't turn on the car, it would at least let you open the door. You can also look into one of those magnetic key boxes that you hide under your car.
