I have a leak in my passsenger side floor 2009 malibu

I always have water in my passenger side floor board in the rear (back seat) just trying to
see where is that coming from. I was told that the heater core makes it do that.

if you have water coming in, you might want to take off the wiper cowl and clean all the leaves, pine needles ect out of the water valley. When clean out you might want to check the tub for rust and would advice to seam seal it.
