Emergency shut off

Was running hot and emergency shut off
happened. Why would it do that and now when I
turn it over it tries to start but wont start why?

I'm trying to find out the same thing. I've offered 200 for someone to tell me fix car whtever HELP

The shut-off is the car immobilizing itself due to the overheating problem. The car just doesn't want further damage from this.
