Help! 2009 Lancer GTS 2.4 Won't start

Asked by Kryptixx Sep 12, 2014 at 05:38 PM about the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Key fob is also part of the manual key. The case cracked and the buttons and circuit board
internal to the fob part of the key are missing. I glued the case back together, figuring I
would just manually unlock the doors. Now my car wont start. Is there a chip in the fob that
prevent the car from starting if its not near the ignition?
