Asked by GuruLW577 Mar 27, 2019 at 06:45 PM about the 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Hardtop Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have mildly built 72 chevelle. It ran perfect for 7 years now every now and
then just cuts off randomly. I've replaced cap, rotor wires and coil . Cut off 3
times yesterday in driveway warming up (about 10 min) drove into town and it
died at light had to restart. Any ideas ?

Called M.S.D. IN San Antonio. Tech told me to move coil further away from distributor. Problem fixed !
