Why does my Engine misfire and have less power?

Asked by Harold Feb 27, 2021 at 12:13 AM about the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OBD #P0301 misfire #1 cyln.. Replaced plugs and wires. I still have the same
code coming back! Could a 6 outlet coil only misfire on 1 cyln.? Or do I have a
bad injector on #1 cyln.? Lower RPM is worse (1500 - 2000). You have to keep
it out of overdrive @ 60 or slower. This car ran great, until the gas cap didn't get
put on tight and the warning light came on. Could that have effected it?

Could be a coincidence. My 2008 did the same thing. This is what we replaced on it in 2016 and it still runs like a charm. 293+k miles now.
