My 08 Avalanche had a problem with the assisted fuel management. I had the
lifters replaced. Then a valve stuck, Had that fixed, now my truck is smoking
white. I am a girl so I think I know it all about my truck, but what i was wanting
to know what are my options for the repair. Can it be repaired or should buy a
new crate motor (without assisted fuel mgmt) Help what should I do

White usually means a bad head gasket or maybe a bad intake gasket.

Yes it can be repaired so have the problem diagnosed before spending thousands of dollars for a new engine. How many miles on the engine?

I have 150000 miles on the truck. Mostly highway, I do drive alot but i have done the regular oil changes etc. I took care of my truck

If you elect to install a new engine remember that the rest of the truck has 150,000 miles on it.
