Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 1999 Chevrolet c1500 z-71 v-8 5.3 liter. For a while its been stalling a little bit
right after starting and continues until it gets moving down the road. Well, yesterday I
added some from a gas jug ( I thought was good). Within 1 minute it began hesitating
and stalling really bad so I made it to gas station and added $20 worth of fuel. It cranked
back up but eventually stalked out right down the street and now it will not start. I'm in the
hole financially, but can anyone give me some advice as to what to do? Thank you so
much.

Yeah I was in a bind and almost out go gas so I pored it in the tank. Since then I looked at the remains from the jug. It smells like weak gas, but when I poured it on concrete it bubbled up big time. So now I know I poured about a gallon of water/gas mix in the truck. I bought a new fuel filter and some valvoline water remover, but I don't even know where to begin. If you have the time, would you please tell me what I should do?
