2008 ford ranger 4x4 ext cab when turning left the dome light comes on turn a sharp right and it goes off. where is the sensor and can i fix it myself

just put on some wd40. like I said I would like to know where that sensor is and can I replace it myself?

I replaced the switch, and no change. A bump or left turn turns on the chime and door ajar light. Hard right turn, especially with a bump, and it goes out. Must be a ground fault, or short somewhere. How to find it???
