You have to do your home work about programming your vehicles key fob. Search out the information using Google and be specific about the Year, make and model of you car. Once you have this information look at Ebay, Amazon and Google to see how much a new programable key fob is for your car. I purchased mine off of Ebay and it has functioned perfectly for several years now. Again BE VERY SPECIFIC ABOUT YOUR AUTO WHEN LOOKING FOR KEYS. TELL THE VENDORS THE YEAR, MAKE, and MODEL of your car and get a commitment they will ship self programming instructions along with your purchased key / key fob. f they do not have programming instructions look at other vendors, several of them should offer this information with their product. Pricing info... When I purchased my new key fob I paid very little for it. Memory tells me it was in the range of the mid $20.00's. I may have been less than $20 but mid $20 seems more accurate, it has been several years since i purchased the keys.
